MAMASTE YOGA  

PRENATAL YOGA

All levels

Prenatal yoga classes are designed specifically for Mums and are safe for all 3 trimesters of pregnancy.  Focusing on gently opening up and building strength and stability to prepare for a healthy birth, both mentally and physically.  All classes include a gentle flow sequence, breath work, and meditation to leave you feeling calm and restored.

 

POSTNATAL YOGA

All levels

This class is designed for Mums who want some much-needed and deserved 'ME TIME'.  Returning to yoga/exercise safely focuses on realigning, healing, and gentle stretching.  Each class will include a gentle flow, restorative postures, breathwork/pranayama, and end with a guided meditation to leave you feeling restored, rejuvenated, and rebalanced.

Mum & Baby Yoga

All levels

This fun and relaxed class allows some time for Mum to stretch and bond with her baby.  The class begins with some playful baby yoga and massage before focusing on some restorative poses and relaxation for mum.  Followed by a safe and gentle practise to stretch, slowly regain strength, and heal postpartum, whilst including our babies.  Classes are very easy going, supportive and social for new Mums.  

*It is recommended to wait a minimum of 6 weeks postpartum following a vaginl delivery and a minimum of 12 weeks following a C-section, before returning to exercise.

Kids Yoga

All levels

Hatha Yoga

All levels

Vinyasa Hatha Flow

Intermediate

Vinyasa ( translates to “flowing with breath”) is a dynamic style of Hatha yoga which joins physical postures, or asanas, with inhales and exhales, creating a steady internal rhythm for the practice. Our Flow classes are designed to cultivate heat in the body with creative sequences involving sun salutations as the foundation to each sequence, a strong focus on the power of breath awareness. Flow yoga classes tend to be more vigorous and aerobic, and classes can have a variety of music and themes.

Tantric Hatha Yoga

Intermediate

This class is ideal if you already have some experience of yoga and wish to deepen your practice on an energetic level.  The postures and techniques used are scientifically designed to channel prana to different areas of the body.  Working methodically with the postures/asanas to prepare the body and mind for meditation.  All classes include breath work/pranayama and meditation.

 Restorative Yoga

All levels

Enjoy the feelings of rejuvenation and steadiness that arise from a restorative practice as you slow down, move from noise to silence, from agitation to calm, from complexity to simplicity. 

As the whole body rests and receives with long-held poses, space is made for the natural healing ability of the body to rejuvenate and repair.

Private 1 on 1 Yoga

All levels

Private classes are a great idea if you would like some more guidance and attention to help you begin or improve your yoga practice, or if you have some pain or injuries you are working with. Classes will be designed specifically for your needs and can be taken at your own pace in the comfort of your own home if you prefer.
